Main House

Located in the Northern Catskill Mountains at 1,500 feet of elevation the Windham House has been a Summer Vacation destination for over 200 years, Offering beautiful mountain views and cool evening breezes to relax and rejuvenate guests.                                            

There is a milk can standing by the turnpike waiting for a trip to the creamery.

  Mr Persons watering a team. The maintenance of this watering tub on the Catskill Turnpike was subsidized by the federal government as a watering stop for the Catskill to Delhi mail stage coach.

Today, Windham House is a complete Country Resort set on 300 acres of lush lawn and woodland. Surrounding the Historic Inn, five colonial style buildings accommodate guests in  modern rooms  while preserving the settings rural charm.
